Anyway ... apart from the near-miss amputation, not much to report. Life is still bordering on strange, sometimes empty, sometimes almost normal, but always filled with an almost unhealthy obsession with any geeky TV show that has come out on DVD.

Case in point: the recently-released, very short-lived Firefly series on DVD.
